Understanding Plan Tiers & Limits

Tip
Your per-upload row limit is the same number as your monthly Standard credit allocation. If a file exceeds it, MailInsightX doesn't reject the upload - it automatically truncates to your limit. See Uploading Lists for details.
What each credit type covers
- Standard credits pay for syntax, DNS/MX, disposable-domain, and role-based/gibberish checks - never InsightX+'s enhanced verification.
- InsightX+ credits pay for real SMTP-based enhanced verification, and are the only path that can detect Catch-All domains, greylisting, or tarpitting.

API access
The developer API requires a paid plan (Starter, Business, or Enterprise) - it's not available on the Free plan. See the API Access FAQ to get started.
Changing plans
- Upgrading mid-cycle adds your new plan's credits on top of your existing balance - you never lose what you haven't used yet.
- Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current paid period, not immediately - you keep your current plan's access through the period you already paid for.
- Renewing on the same plan resets credits to your plan's allocation; unused credits from the previous cycle do not carry over. See Billing & Credits.
