Rate Limits

All four API endpoints share a single rate limit per account:

10 requests per 60-second window.

This is shared across /v1/ping, /v1/balance, /v1/usage, and /v1/verify combined - not 10 per endpoint. If your account has multiple active API keys, requests from all of them count against the same shared limit.

Designing around this

For anything beyond light, interactive use (e.g. verifying an email as a user submits a signup form), batch your own requests client-side and pace them to stay under this limit. There is currently no bulk/batch verification endpoint - see POST /v1/verify for the single-email-per-request design.
